Elvis Iced Tea

INGREDIENTS
- 2 quarts water
- 12 Lipton tea bags
- 2-3 cups of unrefined sugar
METHOD
Pour water into a kettle or a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Place the tea bags and the desired amount of sugar in a teapot or pitcher and pour the boiling water over the bags. Let steep at least 5 minutes, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
NOTES
"Ice tea was one of his favourite drinks," recalls Pauline Nicholson, Elvis's night cook at Graceland. "Sweetened and strong, he didn't like no weak tea."
