Combine 'Gimme Lean' and onion. Shape mixture into meatballs, inserting a pineapple chunk into the center of each. Set any remaining pineapple chunks aside.
Combine oil and curry powder in a non-stick pan. Brown meatballs in butter mixture of medium heat.
Drain meatballs, adding drippings to the following: reserved pineapple syrup, curry drippings, vinegar, sugar, cornstarch and soy sauce in sauce pan; stir well. Add pineapple chunks; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Pour over meatballs.
Serve warm. Great over rice with steamed oriental vegetables.
