Italian Buns

INGREDIENTS
8 dl / 800ml / 1.7 pints water
4-5 t salt
30 - 35 g (1 - 1 1/4 oz ) yeast
250 g / 8 oz durum flour
250 g / 8 oz pizza flour
250 g / 8 oz plain white flour
1/2 t cardamon
METHOD
First you mix water salt and yeast - then you add the flour, plus cardamon and mix. The dough will be too sticky and impossible to knead - this is perfectly alright, it's supposed to be that way...
Leave it for three hours, shape it into buns (you'll need to have lots of plain flour on your hands to be able to form them as it's very sticky) - leave it for one hour - bake for about 25 minutes at 200C/390F...
