INGREDIENTS
    • 1 L / 2.1 pints red wine
    • 250 g / 9 oz dried peaches
    • 100 g / 3.5 oz raisins
    • 100 g / 3.5 oz dried plums 200 g / 7 oz sugar
    • 1 stick cinnamon
    • Lemon peel

METHOD
Leave the dried fruits to soak in water for 2 hours.

Pour the red wine into a saucepan, add in the sugar, cinnamon and lemon peel. Heat the wine mixture until it comes to boiling points and then remove from the heat and stir continuously.

Drain the dried fruit very carefully and add to the wine mixture. Cover the saucepan with a lid and leave to boil for 15 minutes. It may be served hot or cold as desired.
