Rhubarb Marmalade with Figs

INGREDIENTS
    • 500 g / 8 dl rhubarb, diced
    • 150 g / 3 dl dried figs, sliced
    • 2 dl of water
    • 100 g of raw sugar
    • Juice from one lemon

METHOD
Boil the rhubarb and the figs in the water for 20 minutes. Add sugar and lemon juice - boil, while stirring, for a few minutes more, until it thickens. Pour on a glass or jar which have been in boiling water. Place in refrigerator to cool down.

What is a dl (your recipe calls for 2 dl of water)? I don't recognize this unit of measurement (imperial or metric???). Thanks for your help; I will try the recipe very soon.
