Raspberry Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS
    • 1 carton provamel vanilla soya dessert (or 1/4 litre / 1 pint of your own home-made custard)
    • 2 punnets raspberries
    • 3 small bananas
    • Coupla T syrup
    • Glug soya milk

METHOD
1. Freeze the fruit and custard until it is frozen, but not frozen solid. You should still be able to slice them.

2. Roughly chop fruit and custard and blend, adding syrup and soya milk.

3. Serve. If you only half froze the ingredients, freeze for an hour before serving.


NOTES
This is an Italian style ice cream, which tastes halfway between ice cream and sorbet. It contains virtually no fat.

You need a powerful blender with ice-breaking capability. If you only have a cheap blender, you'll have to only half freeze the ingredients and then freeze after blending, so the texture won't quite be as good.
