    • Whole cumin seeds
    • Whole black mustard seeds
    • Whole fennel seeds
    • Whole kalonji seeds
    • Whole fenugreek seeds

METHOD
Mix in equal proportions.

Madhur Jaffrey gives the following proportions in her book "A Taste of India" 2 tsp whole cumin seeds 2 tsp whole black mustard seeds 2 tsp whole fennel seeds 1 tsp nigella seeds (kalonji) 3/4 tsp whole fenugreek seeds
