Breading
Thawed frozen tofu, cut into 1/4 inch / 7 mm thick triangles. Marinated in a mix of water, nutritional yeast, white miso, bragg's, and sage. Added some cornstarch and simmered until thickened slightly. Cornstarch helps breading to stick...
Made breading with part cornmeal/flour, salt, pepper, dried basil, oregano and marjoram (in Millenium cookbook). Tossed the marinated tofu slices in the breading, spread on a lightly oiled pan, sprayed each slice of tofu lightly with olive oil, and baked til golden.
Yum!! Served with sauerkraut and mashed taters...
