Grate carrots, Jerusalem artichoke (Heliantus tuberosus), beetroot and a small bunch of spring onions. I then splashed on a bit of lemon juice and a bit of tamari, turned it, tasted it and liked it!
Hooray! I didn't think that was possible, but I have managed to make a salad which I like... I've bought a grater and used the slicing side of it to slice things very thinly (after cutting my finger badly, I decided to use oven mittens while slicing the rest, which worked just fine - I just hope I can get that beet-juice of them now!).
Wheee! Who would've guess that I, who normally dislike salad so much, could finally find a salad which I really like? :0)
