I then squeeze a lemon or lime over it and add some Sriracha hot chili paste (just a little) and salt and mix well. Olive oil is another good addition, but not essential. This is best freshly made.
It's wonderful freshly made, over warm pasta, or stuffed into pita bread halves.
This isn't a warm sauce, but I've been making it a lot and it is scrumptious on pasta for luncheon on a warm spring day. It's really more of a salad I suppose.
