Spiced Rice

INGREDIENTS
    • 2 cups basmati rice
    • 1 cinnamon stick
    • 5 cloves
    • 5 cardamom pods
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • 3 T vegetable oil (or less)
    • 3 cups vegetable stock

METHOD
Crack the cardamom pods with the flat edge of a knife. Mix them with the rest of the ingredients in a microwavable container.

Cook in the microwave for 13 minutes, stopping to mix every 3 minutes. Remove the cloves, cinnamon stick and cardamom (if you can find them!).

Eat with joy!


NOTES
The easiest, most delicious rice!
