Fried Tofu (Version 2)
Soy - Tofu -

INGREDIENTS
- Tofu
- Nutritional Yeast
- Cider Vinegar
- Miso (or salt)
- Dried thyme
- Dried sage
- Water
- Rice flour
METHOD
One of my favorite things to do with tofu is to freeze some firm tofu, then thaw, slice
it and squeeze it out. Mix some nutritional yeast with a little cider vinegar, a little miso
(or salt), dried thyme, dried sage with some water to thin it out. Dunk
the tofu into it and squeeze it so it absorbs the mixture like a sponge, then
dredge the tofu in rice flour. Press on some nutritional yeast mixed with
sage and thyme and pan fry it in a cast iron skillet. Add salt & pepper to
taste. You can bake this as well!
