Cauliflower and Steamed Lentils

INGREDIENTS
    • 1 cup red lentils
    • 3 cups water
    • 1 t turmeric
    • 1-2 t chili powder
    • 1 t garam marsala (or madras marsala)
    • Olive oil
    • Garlic
    • Ginger
    • 1 large brown onion, shredded
    • 2 cups cauliflower, cut into large pieces
    • 2 cups tomatoes, diced
    • 1 t garam marsala (or madras marsala)
    • 1 t coriander

METHOD
Put red lentils in water, add turmeric, boil at high for about 20 minutes or until the lentils are mushy, and add chili powder and 1 t garam marsala (or madras marsala).

Heat olive oil, garlic and ginger (amount suit to taste) and then add brown onion. Add cauliflower and heat. Add diced tomatoes and heat. Add 1 t garam marsala (or madras marsala).

Combine this with steamed lentils, add 1 t coriander, serve with yogurt.
