Home-Made Jelly

INGREDIENTS
    • Agar
    • 500 ml / 1 pint fruit juice
    • 100 g / 3.5 oz fresh fruit

METHOD
Dissolve the agar powder into 50 ml / 1.7 fl oz of boiling water (follow amounts on packet, as they vary).

Add the fruit juice and bring gently to the boil, stirring all the time until it thickens.

Lay fresh fruit in the jelly mould and pour the juice over. Leave to set. Bear in mind that very acidic juice may not set well.

When set, run under hot water and tip out.


NOTES
Good for toddlers and babies.
