No Cook Fudge

Confectionary - Fudge - Make this your favorite recipe - Upload a new picture for this recipe

INGREDIENTS
    • 1/2 cup raw, unsalted almonds
    • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
    • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
    • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder
    • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
    • 4 tablespoon brown rice syrup

METHOD
Grind almonds in a coffee grinder, it's OK to leave some bigger pieces, but grind pretty good.

Dump ground almonds in a bowl with other ingredients and mix together well. Form into a block and place on a plate and then transfer to fridge to get cold. It sets up very firm and has a nice chewy texture.

NOTES
Here's a nice fudge recipe I invented. You could use olive oil instead of coconut, but you want to use an oil that gets hard when cold. You might also substitute maple syrup for the brown rice syrup to make it a little sweeter. But, this is good and takes about 5 minutes to make if you have the ingredients on hand.

I made this tonight because I was having a chocolate craving and I have to say it was amazing! I didn't have brown rice syrup or maple syrup so I used agave nectar. Extremely sweet, for the future I will use half the amount of agave, or simply buy brown rice syrup. Regardless, this is my new favourite chocoalte fix recipe! It tastes like a chocolate bar (similar to Oh Henry maybe.... it's been a while since I had one).

Great idea with the Agave - I'll definitely have to try that next time I make this fudge.

Upload some pictures of it if you haven't eaten it all already!
