Vegan Bed and Breakfast

Posted On: 2007/09/23 - 07:02

Just got back from a wonderfully relaxing birthday weekend at Gramercy Mansion.

As a vegan, it's nice when you go out to a restaurant and the chefs or cooks will work with you to make something vegan. But even better is when you go out to eat and there is a menu with all vegan options on it waiting for you. At Gramercy this weekend, they had a vegan breakfast menu waiting for me in my room. I couldn't wait to sleep so I could wake up for breakfast!

Planning a trip soon? - Happy Cow has a great list of veggie friendly B&B's. If you're ever looking for a place to stay near Baltimore - take a look at Gramercy. And try the French toast, its amazing!

Hi, I just found your site and looks like there is a lot of great info. Only one problem, I have trouble reading the white text on black background. Any chance you might change that for us 'visually challenged' folks? Hope so. Thanks again!

I know this was posted back in 2007 but I am new to the Vegan Blog and have only put my toe in as far as being a vegetarian. I am interested in the vegan breakfast menu in the post because I am keen to be able to cater for vegans well, ie give them a good variety. My wife Sadie and I have just opened an exclusively vegetarian bed and breakfast in Bideford, North Devon, England. Please check out our website: http://www.bidefordvegetarian.co.uk We have a good range of different full breakfasts on offer, but I doubt we would be able to give a vegan something different everyday for a week, that would be a real challenge. Outside of the egg-free veggie fry-up, tofu scramble, toast and cereals what other options are there?
