We've just spent three action packed days in the land of tea and warm(er) beer and loved every second of it. I've become terribly jealous of left side driving, roundabouts, and the quasi-no speed limit motorways (New Jersey residents would be in paradise.)
Two quick recommendations -
Spent the last two nights at
The Redcoats Hotel - We let them know about vegan diets before we arrived and at dinner time, the Chef consulted with me and made a specialty dish of Lentil Patties, long grain rice, stir fry, and marinara sauce. It was absolutely excellent and I really appreciated the personal service.

And after a day of the requisite touristy stuff in London, we snuck off on a side street and found a little pub called
The Colonies. It was very much an after work type gathering place and they have plenty of beer and dishes with
quorn. I had the quorn + penne with pesto sauce and bell peppers and have been wishing all night that I had a second made and wrapped up for a before bed snack.

Well, that's all for now... our stay in England is short, hopefully I'll be able to check in from France next.
Cheers!
Thank you for the heads up about the quorn... we are in France now and it is much harder to find places to eat. Everyone is kind as long as you make an attempt to speak French.
Now we are looking forward to eating in Spain at "Juicy Jones" which I've only heard rave reviews about.
