Well lovely people, we have a new addition to the site we thought you might be interested in... a forum! Hopefully this will be nice and conducive to getting us all talking a bit, so we can actually find out who else has joined up, and talk about the various random things you often find are talked about in forums...

Humans are not naturally carnivores. Our bodies are not adapted to it at all and in fact consuming animals and animal products, causes all kinds of health problems for humans. The most obvious example being the thoroughly proven link between cholesterol and heart disease - the number one cause of death. Humans are selfish and slow to change however.

We arent naturally herbivores either. There isn't enough enamel on our teeth like true herbivore creatures are. The extra enamel is there because true herbivores will chew on leaves and whatnot, sometimes covered with dirt, etc(especially roots and whatnot), and the teeth will require that extra protection for chewing. I wouldnt chalk this one up to evolution either. I don't think we've had enough time to adapt to running water to clean off our broccoli.

I don't eat meat, cuz Im a vetrinarian..
