[Reply] - [link] - Possible Addition to this - [sugardaddy] - 2009/07/27 - 16:09One of the things that makes non-vegan Dashi so tasty is the smoky flavor imparted by the bonito flakes. This broth takes that away without adding anything in its place. I haven't tried it, but I think maybe a little Liquid Smoke might produce something closer to the non-vegan variety.
