Found this while looking for a healthy alternative to store bought oatmeal squares. I replace the raisins with dried cranberries and dried blueberries (both very good anti-oxidants), then I add slivered almonds for protein, wheat germ for potassium, and flax meal for the lignans and omega-3 essential fatty acids.

I especially like the idea about dried cranberries - we've been using those more and more lately.
