What are nutritional yeast flakes? And where can they be bought? I have checked Trader Joe's, Sunflower Market, Sprout's, and regular grocery stores.
Is there a substitute for them?

nutritional yeast is amazing...if you can get to a wholefoods chain grocery store, they sell it in the bulk section.
